The owner was very friendly.
We underestimated the cold at night in July, and he even provided us with a room at midnight. Even after that, he was able to answer many more of our questions about the country, loans, and places. He was able to give us many tips for our stay in Portugal, even after we were no longer staying with him. We wish him all the best!
The place was spotless!
I have stayed in multiple guest houses in Baleal, and out of all the ones I tried, this was my favorite. The location is excellent—just a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach, and close to restaurants, grocery store, shops, and more. The host was friendly and responsive. The place was spotless! The kitchen was modern and fully equipped, and there was even a laundry machine. It’s a bit pricey, but I would definitely come again and recommend this place 100%

Everything was really clean
We booked for a full month during the low season, so the place was very quiet and mostly empty. Everything was really clean, and the shower was excellent. It did get a bit cold at night, but the host provided extra blankets, which helped a lot. Overall it felt cozy and comfortable.
