Who We Are

We are a hospitality team based in Peniche, combining professional experience, local knowledge and attention to detail to deliver high-quality stays and managed properties in Peniche and Baleal.

Diogo leads operations, guest experience and property management. With over a decade of experience in 4 and 5-star hotels, he has developed strong expertise in hospitality management, service excellence and delivering memorable guest experiences to travellers from all over the world.

Today, he manages multiple properties across the Oeste region of Portugal, ensuring each space reflects comfort, consistency and professional hospitality standards.

Marlene brings over 10 years of experience in professional cleaning and hospitality preparation, ensuring every property is carefully prepared and maintained to the highest standard before guest arrival.

André is our real estate partner, with extensive experience in the property market. From the beginning of Peniche Rentals, he has played a key role in identifying and investing in properties with strong potential for growth and value. He is also actively involved in the management of apartments in Peniche, and his expertise has been important in shaping and expanding our portfolio in the region.

Our Story

It all started with Diogo and Marlene, who shared a dream — to grow, improve, and build something meaningful together.

We come from humble beginnings, and early on we understood that life is short and moves faster than we often realize. That awareness shaped the way we see opportunities and led us to make a simple but powerful promise: to make it count, to make things happen, and to prove that where you start does not define where you can go.

At the beginning, there was more uncertainty than clarity. We did not have all the answers, but we had belief, determination, and a willingness to take risks when it mattered most.

We still have a long journey ahead of us, but we are closer than ever to achieving what once may have seemed out of reach. Every step has been built gradually, through experience, learning, and constant improvement.

Built on trust, belief, and uncertainty, we committed fully to this project and made the decision to turn an idea into reality. There were challenges along the way, as there always are, but each one strengthened our focus, resilience, and commitment.

Over time, what started as a simple vision has grown into something more structured and meaningful — shaped not only by effort, but by consistency, discipline, and attention to detail.

Looking back, we believe that courage creates opportunity and consistency builds progress. None of it happens overnight; it is the result of showing up every day and continuing even when things are not easy.

The journey continues step by step. And regardless of what the future holds, nothing will erase the early, bold steps that brought us here, or the mindset that continues to guide us forward.
